A homeless man carries all that he needs on his body and in his bag, searching for a more suitable place to rest. He keeps to himself, knowing the affluence that surrounds him will pay him no mind.

To his left, several lawyers attempt to take a break from their needy corporate clients. Glued to their phones, consumed by stress, and drawn into work-related discussions, they are unable to disconnect and see the world around them.

To his right, a young woman wearing headphones indulges in her fantasy of a carefree, blissful day of shopping. She looks away from the man, as his destitution reminds her of reality.

This scene is based on a photo I took in Downtown DC, near K Street NW. Forum Shopping refers to the practice of searching for a more favorable court to try a case.

This detailed urban landscape is the perfect artwork for anyone seeking a large piece that captures authentic city life set around DC's Farragut North station.

Materials: This piece was crafted using high-quality, professional-grade acrylic paints on a stretched cotton canvas. All paintings are coated with a varnish and an isolation coat between the paint and varnish layers, and all paintings are ready to be hung directly on the wall or with the hanging wire affixed to the back.

Signature: This piece is signed in the bottom right corner. Additionally, it bears a signature and date on the back of the canvas.

Shipping: All shipped paintings are carefully packed to minimize risks during transit. Hand-delivered works are usually packaged lightly to reduce material use.
