This still life is inspired by a setup I arranged in my kitchen. I like how the mostly muted tones make the red peppers pop, drawing the viewer’s eye to the bold contrasts in the bowl. I wasn’t sure how to approach the granite countertop but was extremely satisfied with the textures I achieved with a palette knife.
