In the foreground, two expert witnesses practice their posture and demeanor, believing this trial could be their path to stardom. Slightly to the left, a third witness pretends to cross-examine them, incorporating trinkets from the market into his unorthodox questions. Though unserious in his delivery, he can't help but imagine the lawyer he could have been.

In the background, other witnesses volunteer at the market, convincing themselves that this "mock trial" is actually a test of their character. They'll help out all day if they have to.
