Two Tomatoes (12" x 16" x 1.5")

Before chopping a couple of vine-ripe tomatoes for dinner one night, I was inspired to paint the beautiful, saturated red of this great fruit (or vegetable if you prefer). I don't frequently do still life paintings, but I always find them the most therapeutic to paint, and I think that is somewhat reflected in the final work here. 

This is a perfect little painting to add some extra life to your kitchen (which I hope already has some decorative features).
